the braclets ladies wear from ankle to mid shin.

Bote.

Santa gets washed in San Blas, Pamana

Welcome! now go do some laundry.

too hot for walls

i got in a canoe. in the middle of nowhere. just me and non speaking to me guide. it was the highlight of my day.

nice shot.

peek A boo

on this island the islanders demand a dollar for EVERY shot should it have ppl in it. each person in the shot is $1. so one shot could be upwards of $10 depending on how many kids wanted to be poseful. they even charged for the animals in the shot too. kittens dressed in baby doll clothes, sea turtles, puppies trussed up, little green birds on sticks or on the infants heads. so i chose not to get many of those shots. in fact i don’t think i did. even inadvertently. i just didn’t want to give money for that i did however purchase many many molas. that kinda of consumerism i could get behind. Oh, the point of this story much of my walk about i held my camera at waist height and set it to hi-speed burst and AF. so consequently my shots are all kinds of weird. with one really awesome money shot. imo. the last one.
maybe i’ll do another post with shots from the nikon. mostly those are more awful… despite it being a better camera.
alls well here in the south america. am missing my work tho. mi casa. the freedom of driving alone in my car. but xmess in Panama… well not gonna lie.
IT’s THE BEST IDEA EVAR!

am still missing you and you and maybe you. call me. leave me a VM, i can hear your voice…

Good Morning Santa Marta, Columbia

Gram w The Huge Banyon tree in Santa Marta

Simon Boliver’s stuff

talk about traffuck. this isn’t a strickly one-way St. just happened to be. currently. whoever gets there first determines the flow. oh! fun fact= theres no speed limit. anywhere.

Leaving Columbia. just before the HELLA SUMER STORM rolled in and followed us for hours…

as always just a quick scene of Columbia. i took just slightly over 1500 fotos here so distilling them down to this is not even close to what i want to show. big files of uploading will just have to wait till i’m back in the land of plentiful steady WiFi/MiFi.

i’d go back to Columbia if given a chance.

missing you.
 missing the sookie wookie.
how’s my amaryllis? sure’ly dead by now, right? the flowers!! not the kitteh!

still wishing YOU were here.
