saw 3 of these in da’ocean today. he’s much cuter tho.
took ourselves to fancy lunch (Bvlgari dishes! can haz?)
artsy fartsy amusing myself. we had the WHOLE place to ourselves. quite boredom inspiring.
the ogre pretending he likes me. <3
starting a new collection of friends. i turned in all the others, except the baby koala. his name is Jemmy. I’d hold
him more but his head falls off. he’s getting more and more droopy as the days pass, perhaps Jemmy is homesick too.

Edgar Noel -the maker if these pieces i bought. i suspect his wife. cos he’s from Grenada, something like a 4 hours bus ride
just to meet the tour buses. there were only 2 today.
house on the water. i couldn’t be bothered to hold my wrist straight, sorry.

dinner!! beef is a major export.
guess one is not to go to any other but Chinandega.
this little town was better then the old man town. by far. but i was happy to get on the bus knowing there’d be a sea day then Chiapas, Mexico. it all just brings me closer to home. which i am severely missing.

where this Basilica is: in english it’s The old Man. in Spanish… i am a blank. kinda felt that way about the whole of Nicaragua. i like it well enuf i suppose but now everything is coloured by the awesomeness of Costa Rica. theres a reason when Madonna, Mel Gibson, Angelina Jolie et al own huge swaths of land. it’s just to die for lovely. so everything else pales by comparison. this is not to say i’m ungrateful to be going where i’m going and been where i’ve been.
oh maybe i’m just upset i didnt’ get any money shots?

Cliff diving -a new level

not dead cruise ship -Wind Star (we looked up where it goes…we like where it goes.)
deadish unknown name leetle cruise ship. tho on starboard side there was a group of snorkelers.
it was fixing to storm at some point the evening we left. we made it out long before that tho. from Costa Rica we headed to Corinto, Nicaragua. it was an uneventful motoring.
the ogre and i made talk of packing up and heading home from Corinto. i’m homesick and he’s feeling ill-ish. tho i decided i’ve come this far i’m gonna go the distance. he’s free to roam about the countryside at any time tho.
i still fiercely miss you and you and my casa and my kitty. and my CAR!!! any vehicular travel has been in a bus. oh funny story! the ogre has turned in all his excursions involving bus rides. he’s OVER them. he must miss his car too…

thought it best to split this into From-the-Ground and From-The-Tram.
took and hour and some minutes to reach the Tranopy. was a pretty drive.
Costa Rica (at least from port to tram) is so.much.cleaner. then Colombia. we didn’t get to go to the capital, San Jose. next time!
